Gutters for Eads
Bigger homes on bigger lots need gutters that move a lot of water
Eads grew up around the railroad. The community took shape in 1888 when the Tennessee Midland Railroad laid tracks through a village then called Sewardville, and it was named for James Buchanan Eads, the engineer. Today most of Eads is unincorporated Shelby County, with I-269, US 64 and Collierville-Arlington Road running through it and the Briarcrest Christian School campus on the map.
The homes here are newer and larger than most of our territory. Across ZIP 38028, the median home was built in 1996 and the median value is about $464,000. Bigger houses mean bigger rooflines, and a large roof with several valleys can dump more water into one corner than a 5-inch gutter can hold. We form seamless gutters on site and step up to 6-inch gutters and larger downspouts where the roof calls for it, so the water goes where it should during a hard spring storm.
Lot size changes the drainage picture too. On an open lot, a downspout that empties next to the slab just puddles there, and water can run back toward the house. We use downspout extensions or underground drainage to carry roof water well away from the foundation. For homes along tree lines, a BroGuard gutter guard keeps leaves out of the trough.

Why the Brothers
Why Eads Homeowners Call the Brothers
We measure every roof plane on larger Eads homes and size gutters and downspouts to the water each section actually sheds.
On open land, where the water goes matters as much as the gutter itself. We plan the downspouts and drain lines together.
Eads is well inside our territory, and our crew drives out from Shelby Oaks Drive in Memphis for every estimate and install.
Year-round
Your Eads gutter calendar
How the year plays out on Eads rooflines, and what our crew is doing in each stretch.
- Fall · Sep to NovLeaves along the tree lines
Homes near wooded edges collect leaves for weeks. We clean and fit guards before the late fall rains.
- Winter · Dec to FebWind and wet weather
Open lots catch more wind, and winter storms can loosen hangers and pull sections loose. We fix them fast.
- Spring · Mar to MayHeaviest storms of the year
More than half of the year’s rain at the Memphis airport falls from December through May, and big roofs feel every inch.
- Summer · Jun to AugUpgrade and drainage season
Drier weeks are ideal for 6-inch upgrades and digging in underground drain lines.

What Mid-South Homeowners Say
“Their estimate was reasonable and within close range to five other estimates. They were courteous, professional, and honest. All of our gutters were replaced in one morning, and they even took the scraps with them. Total job time from estimate to installment was only four business days. If you need gutters, call this business first. Excellent service and product/installation. Thank you!!!”

Posted on Google“These guys did an amazing job installing gutters and replacing rotten wood at my mom’s new home. From start to finish, everything was perfect. Parker did the initial evaluation and estimate. He immediately set us at ease and gave us an honest and thorough assessment of the previous 30-year old gutters. They scheduled us in quickly to avoid any additional damage to the property, and knocked out the job in a little over 1/2 a day. Trace and Will led the work on site and walked us through everything when the work was done. I will definitely use them again!”

Often, yes. A big roof with several valleys can send more water into one corner than a 5-inch gutter can carry during a heavy spring storm. We measure every roof plane and recommend 6-inch gutters and larger downspouts only on the sections where the water volume calls for it.
Away from the house, and somewhere it will soak in instead of running back. On open lots we use downspout extensions or underground drain lines to carry water out to a better spot in the yard, so it never pools along the foundation.
Yes. Eads in ZIP code 38028 is inside our franchise territory. Our crew drives out from our office on Shelby Oaks Drive in Memphis for every estimate and install, and the estimate is free and written down with no pressure.
They may be. Aluminum gutters usually last 20 to 30 years, and sectional builder gutters tend to fail first at the seams and corners. If you see drips at the corners or the gutters pulling away from the fascia, it is time for us to take a look.
Yes. We install BroGuard, a stainless steel micro-mesh guard. It keeps leaves and seeds from nearby tree lines out of the trough while rainwater still passes through, so you are not climbing a ladder after every storm. If your roof sits mostly in the open, we will tell you honestly that you may not need one.
